ADDENDUM NO. 2
Date Issued: Tuesday, November 25, 2025

acknowledge receipt by signing below and reference Section 6.5 Receipt of Addendum on
page 6-2 of the Bid Form.
1) Q: The solicitation refers to the vendor packing waste that is not consolidated by
LCSWMA sta . Please provide clarification as to which material will be consolidated
prior to arrival by the waste contractor.
A: LCSWMA sta consolidates flammable liquids. We sort, classify, and store
the remaining hazardous materials: oxidizers, acids, bases, and photo
chemicals in one storage area and pesticides, mercury, miscellaneous
poisons, unknowns (which are tested by the Contractor), reactives, fire
extinguishers, and aerosol cans in another storage area. The Contractor lab
packs the sorted hazardous materials.
2) Q: What was the average time the current waste contractor spent onsite during
scheduled pickups in 2025?
A: Currently, the Contractor arrives on site between 8-9:30 am and remains
until about 4-5pm, depending on how much HHW material has
accumulated. The following morning, the Contractor’s truck arrives at 6am to
drop o drums, and we load the truck with the material that was packed the
day before. It typically takes about an hour to load the truck.
3) Q: Does LCSWMA have su icient storage space to maintain enough drums and
packaging supplies between scheduled pickups, or should supply drops be
anticipated and priced separately?
A: Yes, we have su icient space to store enough drums month to month.
4) Q: What was the shipping frequency and volume of flammable liquids containing
PCBs in 2025?
A: Thus far in 2025, LCSWMA sent one shipment of PCB-containing waste oil
(~300 gallons) and two 55-gallon drums of PCB-containing flammable
liquids.
