UGA Sponsored Project Administration Pre-Award Solution

Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier to provide a pre-award research administration software solution to the Sponsored Project Administration at the University of Georgia (hereafter the 'State Entity' or 'UGA') as further described in this eRFP.
The State Entity is seeking a software-as-a-service (SaaS), cloud-based eletronic research administration software. This solution will enable UGA to grow its research portfolio, ensure compliance with evolving regulations, minimize errors, and improve communication and collaboration across the university community. The system will manage the entire pre-award lifecycle, including proposal development, budget creation, validation, routing, submission, compliance management, and contract and subagreement creation, and negotiation tracking.
This procurement is an opportunity for a qualified supplier to partner with a leading public research university to implement a modern, efficient, and user-friendly system. The successful bidder will provide a solution that streamlines processes and automates tedious data entry tasks, allowing our Sponsored Project Administration staff to focus on high-value management and oversight activities. The project will involve close collaboration with UGA to deliver a customized solution, import historical data, and provide comprehensive staff training.
The responsive and responsible supplier receiving the highest Total Combined Score and with whom the State Entity is able to reach agreement as to contract terms will be selected for award.
