The City of Arabi, Georgia will accept sealed bids on the work below at the Arabi City Hall, Arabi, Georgia until 2:00 p.m. local time, September 3, 2026, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Project Title:

SEWER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

CITY OF ARABI

CRISP County, Georgia

The project consists of providing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, overhead and profit to:

The construction of a 0.1 MGD Wastewater Treatment Facility. Project includes the installation of a pre-engineered post-tensioned concrete tank and foundation, the installation of wastewater equipment including electrical work, the construction of a sludge wasting facility and related concrete work and the installation of (2) two pump stations and the installation of approximately 2170 lf of a 4" HDPE effluent force main.

The time of performance will be 270 days.

Payment for the work shall be made monthly based on the progress of construction.

The Instructions to Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Agreement, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at:

Copies may be obtained at the office of SOWEGA Engineering, LLC, and P.O. BOX 735, DAWSON, GEORGIA 39842, upon payment of $750.00 for each set. Electronic copies of the Bid Documents are available for $500.00 No refunds will be made.

The Owner reserves the rights to waive any and all informalities, to reject any and all bids, and to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditioned bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The bid security shall be at least five (5%) of the bid.

All bids will remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
