NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP)

2. DFO Charlottetown Helicopter Hangar, 180 Maple Hills Avenue, Charlottetown, PE C1C 1N2
3. DFO Souris Search And Rescue Station, 122 Breakwater Drive, Souris, PE C0A 2B0
Background Statement:
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) requires services for the monthly and annual testing and inspection, repairs as well as monitoring of its fire alarm & sprinkler system located at our three Prince Edward Island facilities.
Scope of Work:
a) To obtain testing and inspection services of the fire alarm systems to assure compliance with all legal requirements as stipulated by the current versions of the National Fire Code of Canada and the National Building Code of Canada.
b) To obtain fast and precise reporting to allow DFO to proceed with correctives measures in a timely manner, therefore assuring the safety of all occupants, buildings as well as the compliance with all applicable regulations.
c) To assure all-inclusive and comprehensive monitoring services for its fire alarm system by assuring communication between all the fire alarm system and a monitoring center on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis.

There is no security associated with this requirement.
The estimated contract period will be 23 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/12/30.
