Description
This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) for all planning, material coordination, schedule preparation, labor, supervision, materials, tools, apparatus, equipment, conveyances, mobilization, and demobilization as necessary for the rehabilitation and/or replacement of the existing underdrains crossing the North Platte Hydro Tailrace, rehabilitation of existing structures and minor grading to promote local drainage as indicated on the APPENDIX A Drawings. The project is located in North Platte, Nebraska east of the intersection of I-80 and S. Jeffers Street (U.S. Highway 83). The scope of work covered is intended to be a “turnkey” installation by the CONTRACTOR.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details
A non-mandatory site pre bid meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at the local DISTRICT Office in North Platte, Nebraska and nearby construction Sites of the Project at 10:00 a.m. CDT, July 29, 2025. The purpose of the meeting will be to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the RFB, and to familiarize the Bidder with the job site. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting. If you plan to attend the pre-bid meeting, please email Sarah Hopwood at sjhopwo@nppd.com, and Bill Ruskamp at whruska@nppd.com, with the names of those attending and the company they represent. Directions to the non-mandatory pre-bid meeting site are as follows:
