Project Description: Sealed proposals will be received by Clifton Heights Borough, Delaware County until 10:00 A.M Tuesday August 19, 2025 for the Glenwood Avenue Pickleball Court.
The project involves the construction of a new outdoor pickleball court facility and associated site improvements. Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to construct a fenced-in pickleball court with an asphalt playing surface and acrylic color coating system, complete with net systems and game striping. Site improvements also include construction of an asphalt parking lot with ADA-compliant parking spaces, installation of concrete sidewalks and ADA curb ramps to provide accessible connectivity between the parking area and the court, and related site grading, drainage, and landscaping. Additional work includes installation of chain-link perimeter fencing with access gates, site signage, and pavement markings.
All Bidding Documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net. The successful bidder who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay “PennBid” a fee of 0.003333% or $150-$6,000 of the contract award value.
Each bid must be submitted online and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least ten (10) percent of the total bid. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal codes and standards. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to bids greater or equal to $25,000.
Notice is hereby given to the requirements contained in this Bid Package particularly to the various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond, performance bond and maintenance bond for 100% of the contract price. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, and to waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the best interest of the Borough.
