Two Phase Selection Process:
This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase competition. The first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all bidders. The second phase, (Phase Two), will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of a contract in Phase Two, the pre-qualification list resulting from the first phase will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation.
Work Description:
Complete repair work to stabilize the Lighthouse and Keeper’s quarters at Mohawk Island National Wildlife Area (MINWA) located on federal land and subject to federal regulation.
Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement to complete repairs to stabilize the Lighthouse and Keeper’s quarters at Mohawk Island National Wildlife Area. Work on site must take place between Sept 1st 2025 and October 31st, 2025.
Site Visit:
There will not be a site visit during the second phase of the tender.
Estimated Value:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $100,000.00 and $130,000.00 (taxes excluded).
Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
The estimated contract period will be 2 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2025/09/01.
