This Addendum forms part of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and is issued to clarify questions
received from prospective respondents. All provisions of the original RFQ remain in effect except as
noted below. Respondents must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in their submission.

1. Submittal Clarifications
1.1 Resumes / Appendix
* Detailed resumes may be included in a separate Appendix.
* Resumes do not count toward the 40-page SOQ limit.
* There is no page limit for the resume appendix; firms should keep content relevant and
concise.
* Resumes should be provided only for key personnel who will be directly involved in
City of Lakeway projects, as described in Tab #3, Section 3.2(a). Resumes are not
required for all staff listed on the organizational chart.
1.2 Past Performance Format
* A list format of active projects in various stages of completion is acceptable for Section
5.2.
1.3 Combining Tab#4 and Tab#7
* No. Please complete Tab #4 and Tab #7 separately as specified in the RFQ. You may
reference the same projects in both sections, but each tab must be presented individually
for consistency.
1.4 Percentage of Involvement Tab #3--3.2(a)
* Firms may provide a reasonable estimate of each individual's anticipated level of
involvement using the format that best represents their role. For example, respondents
may indicate that an individual was dedicated full-time (or a specified percentage of their
time) to a project for a defined period, accompanied by a brief description of their
responsibilities. While the RFQ requests a percentage of involvement, the City's intent is

to understand each team member's overall role and level of participation. A specific format
is not required, provided the information clearly conveys the individual's contribution.
2. Scope of Services
2.1 Concurrent Projects
* Projects associated with this RFQ are anticipated to begin October 1, 2026, aligned with
the City's fiscal year.
2.2 Service Area Selection
* Firms are not required to provide all services listed in the RFQ.
* Respondents may submit qualifications for specific disciplines or specialties.
2.2 Landscape Engineering
* A landscape architect is acceptable for landscape-related engineering scope items.
2.4 On-Call / General Engineering Projects
* On-call or general engineering services may be included as project examples.
* Task orders issued under those contracts may also be listed.
3. Reference & Contact Information
3.1 Clarification of Section 4.1(a), (b), and (e)
* 4.1(a) - Company name
* 4.1(b) - Primary contact person
* 4.1(e) - Secondary contact These items refer to the client/owner associated with the
referenced project. Minor overlap is intentional to ensure complete contact information.
4. Technical Clarifications
4.1 Project Approach - Section 6.1
* The project approach should describe methods used on prior projects, including;
technical approach, project management strategy, on-call service methodology, design
approach and task execution.
4.2 Construction Oversight vs. Inspection
* Section 2.8 refers to construction oversight, not inspection.
* The City of Lakeway has its own inspectors; engineering firms will provide oversight
only.
4.3 Subconsultant Contracting
* As noted in Section 2.9, subconsultants are contracted through the engineering firm, not
directly with the City.
* Subconsultant costs are reimbursable.

5.1 Meeting Recording
* The pre-submission meeting recording will not be made available.
5.2 Questions Deadline
* All questions submitted by the deadline have been addressed in this Addendum.
