XB1675674 - Drainage Improvement at Various Locations in Allegany, Garrett and Washington Counties

This project, located in Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties, is for the construction of drainage improvements at various locations.

Specific locations for this contract are listed herein with the work to be performed. They include the following:

a. US-40 ALT. at KEMP DRIVE, FROSTBURG, MD. (MP: 0.653) NHS
- Replace existing pipe w/ 21” RCP.
- Replace existing pipe w/ 19” x 30” HERCP.
- Install spring box & underdrain.
- Install Class I RipRap.

b. MD-36 NORTH of SLABTOWN ROAD. (MP: 20.74). NOT NHS
- Patch cracks and spalls.
- Repair sinkhole.

c. MD-36 at 15 WEST MAIN STREET, LONACONING, MD. (MP: 7.80) NOT NHS
- Install CIPP Liner on existing TCP.
- Replace existing box 36” x 36” box culvert w/ 36” RCP.
- Restore Sidewalk curb and gutter.
- Replace existing inlet w/ WR inlet.
- Install Manhole.
- Replace existing end wall w/ Type C end wall.
- Remove existing grate.

d. US-220 at the PRISON. (MP: 15.08) NHS
- Remove existing CMPs and backfill
- Install 24” CPDP.

e. US-220 at 12503 MCMULEN HWY SW SHOPPING PLAZA. (MP: 17.10) NHS
- Replace existing pipe w/ 14” x 23” HERCP.
- Replace existing inlet.

f. MD-495 at ROCK LODGE ROAD. (MP: 13.69) NOT NHS
- Replace 18” CMP.
- Remove inlet.
- Remove existing maple tree.
- Relocate existing ditch.
- Backfill scour hole w/ no.57 Aggregate.

g. MD-495 at 4 H CAMP ROAD. (MP: 12.37) NOT NHS
- Replace existing 18” pipe w/ 36” RCP.
- Replace existing 30” pipe w/ 36” RCP.
- Install Class I Riprap.

h. MD-42 SOUTH of FRIENDSVILLE. (MP: 3.00) NOT NHS
- Replace existing 24” metal end section w/ 24” RCP end section.
- Replace existing 24” CMP.
- Install double flume.
- Remove and reset traffic barrier.

i. IS-68 WEST of BLOOMING ROSE ROAD. (MP: 2.63) NHS
- Install CIPP Liner on existing CMP (under roadway).
- Replace existing 24” CMP w/ 24” CPP-S.
- Repair sinkhole.

j. MD-58 EAST of MD-63 (MP: 0.10) NOT NHS
- Replace existing concrete box culvert w/ dual 14” x 23” HERCP.
- Install Class I riprap.

k. MD-68 at BOTTOM ROAD, PINESBURG, MD. (MP: 4.15) NOT NHS
- Install ditch.
- Install pipe.
- Install inlet.

l. MD-77 at HIPPAN HILL ROAD. (MP: 0.56) NOT NHS
- Replace existing end section.
- Wedge & Level.
- Reset invert for positive drainage.
