Sealed bids for the “UCONN PUMP STATION ELECTRICAL AND I&C UPGRADE PROJECT” will be accepted by the Town of Farmington at the Office of the Director of Finance, 1 Monteith Drive, Farmington, CT 06032, until 11:00 A.M. local time, on September 10, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Prior to the public opening of the bids, any bid submitted may be withdrawn by the bidder. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on August 21, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. at the pump station located at 257 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT 06032. Questions regarding the project should be addressed in writing to the Finance Office and must be submitted no later than nine (9) calendar days before the bid opening date. Each BID shall be accompanied by a certified check, bid bond, treasurer’s check or cashier’s check issued by a responsible bank, trust or surety company made payable to the Town of Farmington in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bidder’s BID.
