Separate, sealed bids for “Roofing, City of Dothan Facilities” in Dothan, Alabama, will be received
by the Finance Department, Room 213, on the second floor of the Civic Center, located at 126
N. Saint Andrews Street, until 1:30 p.m. on the date of the bid, and then from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00
p.m. bids will be received in Room 203. Final bids must be received before the deadline at 2:00
p.m., September 08, 2026. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Commission
Chambers, Room 203, second floor of the Civic Center.

“Roofing, City of Dothan Facilities,” Dothan, Alabama, 36303, as indicated in the bid documents,
includes the various materials and methods of roofing installation, among other related tasks as
specified.
The Plans, Specifications, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the City of Dothan’s
procurement website https://cityofdothan.procureware.com. Questions pertaining to the bid documents
may be directed to the Procureware site under the Clarifications for the Bid section. These
documents may be only used for the purpose of bidding on this project. Anyone logging into the site
for specifications will be notified of all addenda by e-mail. All requests for information and
clarification must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 01, 2026.

The owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids.
Prime bidders will be asked to attend a Pre-Bid Conference on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 1:00
p.m., at the General Services office: 288 Complex Drive, Dothan, Alabama. Proposals from bidders
with registered attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference will be given preference.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Bids will be received only from Qualified Contractors duly licensed by the State Licensing Board
for General Contractors and meeting the qualifications indicated in the Project Documents.
