Scovil Hoe - Phase 3 - Site Remediation
The work consists of excavation and off-site disposal of approximately 245 cubic yards of contaminated soil, backfilling and compaction, installation of pavement to render soil inaccessible in accordance with the Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs). The work also includes, installation of stormwater infrastructure, as well as excavation and grading of areas to be paved. It is anticipated that approximately 12,500 cubic yards of polluted fill material may require off-site disposal as part of grading and utility corridor excavation activities.
