VILLAGE OF NORTHBROOK
2026 SIDEWALK REMOVAL & REPLACEMENT PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Village of Northbrook that sealed bids will be received for the removal and
replacement of defective public concrete sidewalk segments and removal and replacement of selected
combination concrete curb and gutter segments at various locations throughout the Village.
Complete digital project bidding documents will be available online at www.questcdn.com on Thursday,
February 5, 2026 upon receipt of payment of a $22 non-refundable fee. Access to the project bid package is
obtained by inputting Quest project #10030663 on the website’s Project Search page. Please contact
QuestCDN.com at 952-233-1632 or info@questcdn.com for assistance in free membership registration,
downloading, and working with this digital project information. Paper copies will not be provided by the
Owner.
Said sealed Bids will be received until 1:00 pm, local time, on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the office of
Kelly Hamill, Director of Public Works, 655 Huehl Road, Northbrook, IL 60062, at which time all Bidder's
Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud.
All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier’s Check made payable to the Village of
Northbrook for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a
satisfactory performance bond and a contract bond in the full amount of the bid.
All work under this contract shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act of the State of Illinois, 820 ILCS
130/1 et seq. and Employment of Illinois Works on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570/). Bids may not be withdrawn
for a period of ninety (90) days after closing date without the consent of the Board of Trustees.
Any Bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, fax transmissions or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and
time, may be disqualified and returned to the bidder.
The Village of Northbrook reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities or
informalities in the bidding process or in any Bidder’s Proposal and to award the contract in a manner best serving
the interest of the Village. The bidder’s attention is called to the Village’s policy of not allowing the procedure
of trailing lien waivers.
