JEROME WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT IMPROVEMENTS
The Town of Jerome is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Jerome
Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements. The Project includes the following Work: Improvements
include conversion of this existing trickling filter facility to a 90,000 GPD Sequencing Batch Reactors
(SBR) with removal and demolition of existing wastewater equipment; construction of two new 54,000-
gallon SBR basins, aerobic digester basin, equalization basin, sludge dewatering, chlorine contact
chamber, drying beds, etc.; installation of new 12-inch PVC gravity sewer main, complete with piping
and piping appurtenances; construction of a new access roadway, including all grading and drainage
work.
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically via email to
tpierce@pacewater.com. Alternatively, Bidder may submit a hard copy to the Town of Jerome, 600
Clark Street, Jerome, AZ 86331, until Monday, June 1st at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2:00 PM at the
Council Chambers, Town of Jerome, 600 Clark Street, Jerome, AZ 86331. A project site visit will take
place directly following the pre-bid conference.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award,
refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural
Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and
subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement
to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States.
The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined
or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges,
pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction
Materials.

Minor Components,
Pig iron and direct reduced iron.
