Holiday Decorations

The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a term contract through competitive negotiations for outdoor holiday decoration services each year for the Town of Herndon. The holiday decorations will be on display from the beginning of November through the beginning of January of each year during the Contract Term. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing lights, decorations, equipment, labor, technical expertise, and all other necessary items to ensure safe and aesthetically pleasing holiday decorations.

The Town of Herndon is the third-largest town in the Commonwealth of Virginia and home to more than 24,500 residents. Amidst a 21st century Northern Virginia landscape of high-rise buildings, industrial complexes, and transportation hubs, Herndon maintains a small-town charm that is evident in its downtown, its neighborhoods, and its commercial areas.

Located within Fairfax County, the town is just two miles east of Washington Dulles International Airport and 22 miles west of downtown Washington, DC. The Town of Herndon blends the old and the new into a foundation that provides solid support for small, medium and large corporate businesses such as Amazon Web Services, Beacon Roofing Supply, Boeing, Karsun Solutions, Northwest Federal Credit Union, Peraton, and Serco. In addition, the Town prides itself on quality-of-life attractions such as a historic downtown, a 45-mile regional bicycle and walking trail, 120 acres of parkland, and a public 18-hole Audubon-certified golf course.
