Description

The Contractor must provide 4-year inspection services in the month of June each year to test the mechanical operation of the Combination fire/smoke dampers.

The Contractor must complete inspection of one quarter of the buildings each year to meet the requirement of the 4-year inspections over a 4-year period. The Regional Psychiatric Centre has approximately 600 fire dampers within the institution. The electrical components of the combination fire/smoke dampers are not part of this SOW as they are tested as part of a separate contract.

The Contractor must locate existing fire separations and determine whether the required fire and smoke dampers and combinations systems are in place. CSC will provide list of known existing fire dampers to the Contractor.
