Description

This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government s intent to award a sole source contract to Varian Medical Systems, Inc. under the statutory authority of Section 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), entitled Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
