07226Y0322-Victim Notification System (VINE or Equivalent)

The New York City Department of Correction (“DOC”) invites expressions of interest and Information from qualified firms that can provide a Victim Notification System, including solutions comparable to VINE (Victim Information and Notification Everyday). This RFI is issued for informational and strategic planning purposes only. Information gathered will help guide the development of a future procurement, in accordance with the City of New York’s Procurement Policy Board Rules and Local Law 1 of 2013
The purpose of this RFI is to:

• Understand the landscape of commercially available or configurable victim notification systems;
• Assess capabilities, features, and implementation strategies of interested firms;
• Guide the development of a potential future solicitation; and
• Ensure that vendor capabilities are reflected in the scope of work and procurement approach.

DOC reserves the right to consider information obtained from responses to this RFI to develop a Request for Proposals (RFP) that would achieve the City’s objectives. The City shall issue a subsequent RFP at its sole discretion, and any response to this RFI does not guarantee either such solicitation of an RFP or consideration for subsequent award.
