NOTICE REQUEST FOR FORMAL WRITTEN PROPOSAL AND SPECIFICATIONS
FOR SAINT PETER COMMUNITY CENTER ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND
TRANSFER SWITCH REPLACEMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that formal written proposals for the electrical infrastructure and automatic transfer switch (ATS) system replacement at the Saint Peter Community Center and Library will be accepted until 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 22, 2025, at which time they will be opened at the Saint Peter City Hall, 227 South Front Street, Saint Peter, Minnesota 56082.

A pre-bid walkthrough of the facility with City Facilities Maintenance staff and ISG Electrical Engineers will be held on September 11 @ 11:30 a.m. at the Saint Peter Community Center. Interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend. Contact Eric Borseth, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, at 507-351-7942 to RSVP or for additional details.

The Contractor shall supply, install, and commission a new closed-transition automatic transfer switch system, consolidating the existing three open transfer switches. The scope includes reconfiguring electrical feeds for the Community Center, Library, and Chiller; removing all existing outdated ATS units; installing a new emergency systems transfer switch; providing new service equipment, including a generator docking station; updating electrical wiring for the building as needed; and installing submetering equipment for energy tracking. The Contractor will obtain all required permits, ensure full compliance with applicable codes, and coordinate system integration with the existing generator in accordance with the detailed specifications.

Contractor personnel must comply with OSHA standards, including wearing all required safety equipment. All procedures and equipment shall comply with the latest NEC and OSHA safety regulations.
