UConn - University Second Electrical Feed

The UConn Storrs campus continues to expand in accordance with its Master Plan, and the electrical demand is increasing to a point where both imported, and campus-based production of electrical power need to be increased to meet forecasted demand. The new 38E connection to the Eversource 900 line will facilitate meeting the forecasted demand. The project previously went out to bid for the pre-purchasing of select electrical equipment only, which included pre-purchase, rigging, and setting of pre-purchased transformer and associated high voltage equipment. This Prequal is for remaining project scope.
