Bid Description:
An existing undersized culvert under Baptist Street will be replaced with a new concrete structure. The work will require an open cut of the roadway and the road will be closed with a detour in place. The existing pipe culvert and failing headwalls will be removed. A 3-sided precast culvert on cast-in-place footings will be installed. Headwalls, wingwalls and guardrail will be constructed. The project also includes channel work to establish a stable, natural stream channel through the crossing.
