Bid Type: Job Contract Locations: Orleans Keywords: Construction (Non Building), Bridge Repair and Construction, Culvert Replacement, Stream Restoration Bid Description: This project entails replacing a 60” CMP on a Town Highway with an 18’-0” x 5’-9” single radius aluminum arch, wingwalls, and headwalls on steel express foundations with lean concrete poured-in-place as a leveling pad on bedrock, restoring the historic stream channel, and disconnecting the currently occupied channel. Associated work includes erosion & sediment control, temporary stream diversion, channel/floodplain grading, culvert removal, subsurface preparation, pouring lean concrete, placing steel express foundations, pouring foundations in place, placing single radius aluminum multi-plate pipe arch, riprap protection, backfilling and repaving. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory and will be virtual. Only those expressing interest in bidding project will receive an invite to the meeting.
