The County of Contra Costa ("County"), through its Capital Projects Management Division of the Public Works Department, hereby gives notice it is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to deliver design-build services for the County's fleet Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) network projects and that the County has determined that all Design-Build Entities ("Design-Builder'') must be prequalified.

PROJECT SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The County is implementing a CEC-funded program to install approximately 111 Level 2 chargers (99 dual and 12 single) and 37 DC fast chargers across fourteen (14) County-owned or leased sites to support County fleet operations (and, at select locations, additional user groups as defined in the RFQ). The selected Design-Builder will perform design, permitting, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout in coordination with utilities and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), consistent with all applicable codes and the County's requirements. Additional Notices. This project is subject to the County's Project Labor Agreement (PLA) and the County's organizational conflict-of-interest policy.
