Addenda: 0
Release Date: 7/21/2025
Due Date: 8/12/2025
Fort Thomas Unified School District, #7 is in Graham County serving our K-12 Community. Mount Turnbull is located in Bylas, AZ, which is between Globe and Ft Thomas. This Project, Building 400 Classroom Additions at Mount Turnbull Elementary School , will be funded by a private donation received by the district. The move-in date is July 2026. Attendance at the prebid is mandatory. The site already has an existing school, and this new building will contain four classrooms that need to be integrated with the existing systems. The fire alarm system at the school is a Siemens.
You are advised to bring your subcontractors with you to this prebid. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site as it is an occupied campus. There are currently two major road projects between the East Valley and Bylas, AZ. The ongoing work is separate from the US 60, Queen Creek, and Waterfall Canyon Bridges Replacement Project east of Superior, is open on Mondays. The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following lane restrictions on US 60, approximately 3 miles west of Miami, for roadway improvements: US 60 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction with alternating east- and westbound travel between mileposts 240 and 243 daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, July 28, through Thursday, July 31, and from 5 a.m. to noon Friday, August 1. Flaggers and a pilot car will direct drivers through the work zone. An 11-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place. The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph. Please plan ahead for any road delays.
