SYSTEM HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE FEATURES
Two-axis transducer provides direct measurement of both horizontal traction force and vertical load on the test wheels Trailer equipped with a parallelogram suspension, non-resonant combination of coil springs with heavy duty air shocks and disc brakes
Solid state electronics and instrumentation
Simple trim system calibration
Full system diagnostics of transducers, encoders, brakes, and water system
Test headers: friction numbers, peak friction values can be printed and/or stored
On-board computer calculates Friction Number (FN) and displays friction vs. time graph in real time
GPS should have centimeter accuracy without external correction (Trimble BX992 or equivalent)

OTHER ITEMS
ALDOT will provide a Ford F-350 Dual Rear Wheel 4X4 tow vehicle with camper shell.
Manufacturer shall provide a one-year warranty covering parts and labor for test vehicle after delivery to ALDOT including, but not limited to, frame, transducer, wheel encoder, braking system, and data processing unit.
ALDOT will transport system to the Transportation Research Center for certification after delivery. Vehicle must pass certification.
