This information will carry forward to a contract if awarded, therefore please ensure all information is correct. ** Entire Official Bid Document and Bid Bond (if required) should be combined as one PDF and uploaded** 25090AMLBAML (Grant Combs Road Slide Phase II problems are located at coordinates N37.2451, W83.1744 or Lat 3714 '34.1562, Long 8310' 08.6520. To address this concern, AML is installing guardrails along sites 1, 2 and 3 as shown on design drawing for a total of 370LFt. There are four sites GSI has repaired along Grant Combs Road (See Planview). This is the only access for the residences, who live along Grant Combs Road to enter and exit their homes. Project limits include 7.15 acres of road and slide areas. There will be a total expected disturbance of 0.00. Within the unstable areas, a total of 0 acres of trees will be disturbed. All four stabilization proposals were very similar in design and construction approach. Each solution involved backfill to restore the roadway shoulder and provide space for guardrail posts along the edge of the repaired road. Additionally, the project will be performed under a road closure with traffic control, to ensure safety during construction. |
