Aquatic Park Conditions Assessment

The City of Bonner Springs is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to assess the current condition of the existing Bonner Springs Aquatic Park. The pool was constructed in 2005 and is located at 1200 South 134 ^th Street, Bonner Springs, KS 66012. The “Conditions Assessment” will serve as a guide for future decision making for the Aquatic Park in regards to budget and maintenance priorities.

Scope of Services

1. Evaluate the Bonner Springs Aquatic Park to understand existing conditions,
2. Meet with staff to discuss areas of concern,
3. Create a prioritized list of recommended improvements and repairs,
4. Include a detailed probable cost of improvements and repairs,
5. Present final report to the City Council

Selection Process

A selection committee will review all proposals received and generate a ranking of the firms. The City, at its discretion, may or may not conduct interviews of the firms.

Directions for Submissions

Proposal must be submitted and arrive no later than 3:00pm on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

The envelope in which the Submittals are delivered must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside with the Respondent’s name and the project identification:

“Aquatic Park Conditions Assessment”.
