Nether Providence Township 2025 Road Program - Phase 2

Project Description: NOTICE TO BIDDERS
TOWNSHIP OF NETHER PROVIDENCE
Online sealed bids for the 2025 Road Program Phase 2 will be received by Nether Providence Township
online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.bonfire.com until 10:00 AM, on July 17, 2025. Major items include 4,810 square yards of milling, 850 square yards of base/trench repair and 460 tons of wearing course.
All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program
at www.PennBid.bonfire.com at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder who is awarded the
contract will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 % of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid.
A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, made payable to Nether Providence
Township must accompany each bid.
Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the
PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price.
Nether Providence Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids thereof, and waive any
information in the bidding, as they deem are in the best interest of the Township.
