Plan & Spec Available:

Plans and contract documents may be obtained by qualified bidders from AtkinsRéalis USA in Marietta, Georgia, upon payment of $300.00. The check or money order shall be made payable to AtkinsRéalis USA. Cash is not accepted. Only a bid submitted by a Contractor on record with the Engineer as having received plans and bid documents from the Engineer will be opened. No refunds will be made. In lieu of printed plans and bid documents, digital documents can be made available, but the $300 fee for documents is still due, required to recover costs to build the digital files and deliver these files to the bidder

Qualifications:

Only pre-qualified BIDDERS will be allowed to bid on this project. Any prospective BIDDER, who has not already pre-qualified with Paulding County Water System, will be required to submit the required application package (Statement of Bidder’s Qualification) to the ENGINEER no later than noon on November 12, 2024. Prospective BIDDERS who have not previously qualified can obtain the pre-qualification application package by emailing a request to Jodi Brock at Paulding Water at jodie.brock@paulding.gov. The criteria for pre-qualification includes, but is not limited to: (a) evidence of experience and successful completion of projects for local governments in Georgia of similar scope to this project; (b) evidence of financial and other resources to complete the work on schedule; (c) evidence of insurance and bond requirements.

Prospective BIDDERS will be notified of the pre-qualification determination within three business days of receipt of a complete application. Bidders shall inform themselves concerning Georgia laws and comply with same. Bidders are required to have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License to submit a bid in excess of $100,000. Checks given to AtkinsRéalis for purchase of plans and specifications will be returned to prospective bidders that are deemed ineligible to bid upon the project.
