Professional Engineering Services for Structural, Concrete and Coating System Repairs at Joker Marchant Stadium

The City of Lakeland is requesting statement of qualifications from firms permitted by law to practice professional engineering in the State of Florida who specialize and have extensive experience in structural inspections, open air concrete building structures, coating systems structures such as: Sports and Entertainment Complexes, Outdoor Public Assembly Venues, Stadiums and Garages.

This solicitation will follow the requirements of Florida Statute 287.055 termed the “Consultants’ Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA)”. In compliance with the Florida Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), (Chapter 287), rates shall not be included in this proposal.

The selected firm will provide engineering services for developing comprehensive technical specifications regarding structural, concrete, and coating repairs at Joker Marchant Stadium located at 2301 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Lakeland, FL 33805. This structure is multi-level stadium constructed primarily on precast and cast-in place concrete elements. The upper-level addition is constructed utilizing steel girders, beams and columns, including concrete slabs placed over composite metal decking. The walking surface of the stadium seating area and the exterior deck areas are coated with a liquid membrane waterproof coating.
