The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District is requesting bids from qualified contractor's to provide construction of approximately 1,300 linear feet of new barbed wire wildlife friendly fencing, one (1) 12ft powder river gate ( 1600 tube gates ), one (1) 4ft powder river ( 1600 tube gates ) pedestrian gate with ring latch, and removal of approximately 350 linear feet of old fencing, at Palo Corona Regional Park.
The majority of fencing will be installed along a maintenance road. One end will be finished on the uphill side of the road into heavy brush, and the opposite end will finish on the downhill side of the road and connect with a previously installed fence line. Partial fence removal will occur where the old fence line and new fence line meet.
