Description
This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only.
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 12, intends to issue a sole-source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 1901 RFO FAR 12.201, to AGILITI HEALTH INC. Services will be for one base year (12 months) and up to four option years under NAICS 334510 / PSC 6525. The overall purpose of this requirement is to procure fusion biopsy equipment rental, disposables, and on-site technical support services for the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; due to the unique characteristics needed for this service, AGILITI HEALTH INC. is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
The Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center requires a high-precision, real-time MRI/Ultrasound fusion guidance system for prostate biopsy procedures. This system will enhance diagnostic accuracy and support both trans perineal and transrectal biopsy workflows. The vendor is required to offer full rental support services including all consumables on a per-procedure basis. The contractor shall provide the following during the contract period:
Rental of a Turnkey MRI/US fusion system
Necessary consumables
On-site technical support
Training
Essential characteristics for the required equipment and services include:
Real-time MRI/US fusion with DICOM import of mpMRI images
Organ-based tracking with 2 mm targeting accuracy
Support for transperineal and transrectal biopsies
DICOM/PACS integration and FDA clearance
On-site training and full technical support
Data encryption and sanitization per VA cybersecurity policy
SUBMISSION INFORMATION:
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement not later than 12/31/2025 at 8:00 AM CST, to brandon.harris@va.gov. When responding to this announcement, respondents must include Notice of Intent - 36C25226Q0152 in the subject line or the response may not be considered. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required supplies, equipment, and services. Responding as an interested party under the https://sam.gov/ website does not constitute convincing evidence of capabilities. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal and facsimile responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. All interested parties are reminded to be registered with System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/SAM/ in order to be eligible for award of Government contracts. No telephone calls will be accepted. If by 12/31/2025, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, NCO 12 will negotiate solely with AGILITI HEALTH INC.
The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract. A determination by the Government whether to compete the proposed requirement will be based upon responses received and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
