The New York City Department of Sanitation (“DSNY” or “the Department”) Health Care Facility is an occupational health facility with a medical staff that evaluates the medical condition(s) of its uniform and non-uniform employees. Evaluations include fitness for duty, safety, return-to-work, and pre-employment evaluations.

DSNY seeks a qualified contractor (“the Contractor”) to provide Nurse Practitioners (“NPs”), Physician Assistants (“PAs”), Registered Nurses (“RNs”), Licensed Practical Nurses (“LPNs”) and Medical Assistants (“MAs”) to support occupational health operations at the DSNY Health Care Facility.
Scope of Services

The Medical Director, Director of Clinical Operations, or their designee(s) will establish work schedules for all clinical personnel on an individual basis.

DSNY reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify staffing schedules based on operational needs.
Clinical personnel may be required to work Monday through Saturday, holidays, and emergency days, depending on DSNY's operational needs.
Staffing levels and schedules shall be determined solely by DSNY based on operational needs and available funding. This Contract is for up to six (6) clinical staff members, in any combination of approved staffing titles, as needed, to work at the DSNY Health Care Facility located at 44 Beaver Street, New York, NY 10004. The facility operates Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and is closed on Sundays and on City holidays.

Staffing Titles, Responsibilities, and Qualifications

The Contractor shall provide qualified clinical personnel, as authorized by DSNY, to support occupational health operations at the DSNY Health Care Facility. Clinical services shall be performed under the general direction of the DSNY Medical Director or his/her designee.

All clinical personnel shall practice within the scope authorized under applicable federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, and professional licensing requirements. The Contractor and its personnel must maintain all required licenses, certifications, permits, and registrations for the duration of the Contract.
