1. PURPOSE:

This Invitation for Bid 6100065583 will be to furnish and deliver the one (1) “New and Unused” 33,000-lb CDL Diesel-Powered Medium Duty Box Truck

This equipment is for the PA Department of General Services, Division of Warehouse and Distribution.

2. METHOD OF AWARD:

It is the intent of the Commonwealth to make a single award of item(s) listed in the IFB to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Commonwealth Reserves the right to award by line item if it determines that it is in the best interest of the Commonwealth to do so.

4. INTENT STATEMENT:

To describe a medium duty box truck. Please note that this unit makes delivery in tight and congested areas with steep approach angles. It is imperative that these minimum specifications are met with regards to vehicle and body dimensions. Completed unit to be delivered to the Commonwealth Garage in Harrisburg. The following are MINIMUM requirements including all genuine parts, accessories, equipment and safety features considered standard. The vehicle shall be delivered in compliance with PCID-1067.
