Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance Services

The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit bids from interested and qualified Vendors to provide Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance Services for the City of Seattle (the City). Installation of new HVAC systems or renovation/upgrades extending beyond ordinary maintenance and repair is not included in the scope of this solicitation and will not be allowed under the resulting contract(s). The resulting contracts may not be used for projects better classified as Public Works.

The City currently has three contracts for HVAC Maintenance Services that were the result of ITB CTY-3760 and have reached the end of their usable life. The City is returning to the marketplace for bids and anticipates replacing and closing the following contracts as a result of this solicitation:

Contract #3760 - MCKINSTRY CO LLC

Contract #3822 - HERMANSON COMPANY LLP

Contract #3823 - KEY MECHANICAL CO OF WA

While the Department of Finance and Administrative Services (FAS) has been the primary user of these services, all resulting contract(s) will be available to all City departments.
