Invitation to Bid
This Invitation to Tender ("ITT") is an invitation by Red Deer Polytechnic (“RDP”) to solicit competitive bids from qualified firms to perform the work required to complete the Central Alberta Collegiate Institute (CACI) programming model Trades Upgrade (“Project”) located at RDP Main Campus. This will involve creating a modern collegiate classroom space by repurposing a portion of the student gathering area and the ceramic studio. Additionally, two existing classrooms, 826 and 828, will undergo modernization, incorporating technical upgrades to support 16 students each. These classrooms will be directly connected to the welding shop via room 824D. The welding booth in 824E will also be modified to meet the updated requirements for the CACI program. The scope includes constructing a new women's washroom within the trades area to enhance accessibility and inclusivity. The total renovation area spans approximately 503 m². The project will adhere to the Technical Design Requirements for Alberta Infrastructure Facilities and align with the conditions set forth in the Collegiate School Grant Agreement.
