Project Description: SCOPE: The Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA) is looking to replace carpeting in designated gate areas of the terminal. The total area for the replacement of carpet tile squares is 24,350 square feet. Proponents shall verify/measure each area to confirm square footage requirements. The selected installer will be responsible for the removal and-proper disposal of the existing carpeting materials. This project is subject to prevailing wage rate. A sample of the proposed carpet must be submitted to the NFTA by the RFP Proposal Close Deadline. The sample must be clearly labeled with the Proponent’s name, RFP number, and the name of the manufacturer. Failure to furnish a sample of the proposed carpet, or failure of the proposed product to fully comply with NFTA’s requirements will be cause for rejection of the proposal. The address to mail the carpet sample to is included in the Project Scope and Technical Specifications document that can be downloaded from Bonfire.
