Release Date: 10/24/2025
Due Date: 11/21/2025
The City of Bradenton is seeking proposals to provide Construction Management at Risk Services for the construction of a potable water main. The main will be +/- 1700 LF 12” HDPE, using horizontal directional drill methods for installation from north of Manatee Ave to Barcarrotta (1 st Ave) along 10 th St W and from the corner of 10 th St W and Barcarrotta to southeast corner of 12 th St W. The proposers are required to comply with the Scope of Services.
The City anticipates continued development in the downtown area, primarily multi-story buildings for both residential and commercial purposes at multiple locations. In order to fulfill water demand in the area, additional distribution mains are required for delivery of potable water and adequate fire flow.
Under a continuing services contract, the City has engaged Jacobs Engineering to design a 1700 LF water main, Phase 1 of a larger project. In conjunction with this design effort, the City is seeking proposals from qualified CMARs to provide preconstruction services and ultimately construction management for the installation and testing of the new water main.
