This announcement serves as a notice of intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 13.106. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811210, which is $34.0 million. This is the only announcement that will be issued prior to award.

The US Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), California Great Basin Region, intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis for Hydromet Station Maintenance and Data Processing to the State of California, Department of Water Resources (DWR), Division of Flood Management, P.O. Box 942836, Sacramento, California. The anticipated period of performance shall be 1-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods.

Firms which can provide the services above must submit written notice to the Contracting Officer and must provide evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent¿s ability to meet the stated requirement. This is not a request for competitive quotations. All responses received by the due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
