Description
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE – THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE U.S. HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL MUSEUM’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD ORDER TO: Historical Arts and Casting
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Historical Arts and Casting to provide the following:

Cast and fabricated custom aluminum and iron fixed replacement bollards
MATERIAL:
-
A. ALUMINUM CASTING: 356 ALLOY.
-
B. CAST IRON: CLASS 30 GRAY, ASTM A48.
-
C. STAINLESS STEEL: #304.
Freight to Bowie, Maryland 20715.
This contractor is uniquely qualified as they fabricated the original bollards and have the original castings in their possession.
Value of the contract is estimated at $125,000 but may be adjusted based on the per unit cost and quantity discounts but is not expected to exceed $250,000. Bollard quantity will range from 15-32 based on available funding.
Any other contractor who is able to demonstrate its ability to perform the above services with similar skillsets is asked to contact James E. Wesley, II via email jwesley@ushmm.org before the due date of this notice.
