Description

Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to Solution Space Limited (the “Supplier”).

The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.

The Gaming Policy & Enforcement Branch (GPEB) of the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General is responsible for the overall integrity of gaming and horse racing in British Columbia. In addition, GPEB is also responsible for gaming policy and legislation, regulation, standards, licensing, registration, distribution of gaming proceeds and enforcement for all gaming sectors and management of the province’s problem gambling program and related initiatives. GPEB carries out its mandate under the Gaming Control Act, Gaming Control Regulation and the Criminal Code of Canada. To deliver this mandate, GPEB maintains the Gaming Online System (GOS).

This contract provides ongoing system development and maintenance, including critical break/fix services to support GOS. This includes full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) management, database administration, code development and new initiative development for GOS.
