Box beam must be 5 pieces - 3 feet 0 inches X 55 feet 6 inches. Box beam must have a minimum strength of 5500 psi at detention and 8000 psi at 28 days. Pre-stressing strands must be seven-wire uncoated low relaxation oversize strand (AD = 0.167 square inches), with a minimum tensile strength of 270,000 psi. Interior box beams shall have "Tex-Cote 300 Bridge Cote" Latex Acrylic Copolymer Coating or equivalent applied to the bottom of the beams. Box beam lab reports must accompany the shipping ticket.

Bridge rail must conform to the standards set for in section 607 of the West Virginia Division of Highways Standard Specifications of Roads and Bridges (adopted 2023). Bridge rail must include inserts, hardward, posts, and guardrail (see plans for detail). Bridge rail (16 bridge guardrail posts with hardware, and 87-1/2 linear feet of guardrail) must be attached to beams by fabricator. Note: Shipping constraints may limit the length of attached guardrail.

Post-Tension Bearing Plates

Post tension bar must be 1 inch diameter. Post tension bar must be 5 pieces - 24 feet 4-1/2 inches long. Post tension bar must come with nuts.
