RFQ for the Provision of On-Call Design Engineering and Environmental Services

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals are invited by the Humboldt County Department of Public Works, for the following:

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ No. DPW2026-007) FOR THE PROVISION OF ON-CALL DESIGN ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES

The Humboldt County Department of Public Works is accepting sealed Statements of Qualification (SOQs) from qualified consulting firms to provide on-call design engineering and/or environmental services for various state and federally funded roadway and bridge construction projects.  The County will select a consultant, based on their experience, availability of personnel and other considerations as noted in the RFQ to award a master consultant agreement and issue task orders.

If you wish to submit a proposal, submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy of all requested information in a sealed envelope. A return address and the words “RFQ No. DPW2026-007” must be printed on the outside face of the envelope.

Sealed proposals must be received by Public Works, 1106 2nd Street, Eureka, CA by 4:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2026.  Proposals received late will be rejected and returned unopened. The County of Humboldt reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.

Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) documents will be available for examination at the Department of Public Works, 1106 Second Street, Eureka, CA 95501, Phone: (707) 445-7377.  Complete RFQ documents may be obtained through the Department of Public Works Office.  RFQ documents can also be found on the Humboldt County Website under Public Works Department, via ( https://humboldtgov.org/Bids.aspx ).
