NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Forrest City School District is requesting Sealed Bids from qualified licensed contractors to execute the scope of work to replace full HVAC system at the Forrest City Junior High School. Area of work is approximately 98,341 SF and includes all wings except the gymnasium. Scope varies by wing, but will include ductwork, controls, units, wiring, and possibly electrical mains and supply lines. Ceiling tile and grid will also be replaced.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting for this project will be held Tuesday, September 16, at Forrest City Junior High School, 1133 North Division Street, Forrest City, AR 72335. This meeting will begin promptly at 10:00 AM local time. All potential bidders must attend this meeting to be eligible to submit a bid.
Bidder questions will be accepted and answered until Thursday, September 25, 2025.
Sealed bids will be received on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 until 02:00 PM at Forrest City School District Administration Offices, Central Office Conference Room, 625 Irving Street, Forrest City, AR 72335. Once the time for receipt of Bids has passed, Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted.
BID DOCUMENTS: The official version of the complete set of the Contract documents should be examined and are obtainable from the Cromwell Architects Engineers. Bidders may access complete electronic documents through the Cromwell Virtual Plan Room / Print Shop website. Contact: ThePRINTSHOP at www.theprintshoplr.com ; 1304 East 6th Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72202; Telephone (501) 400-1006. The plan room is completely free to access and view Drawings and Specifications. Hard copies of the Project Manual and Drawings may also be purchased for a non-refundable fee at the PRINTSHOP.
Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and others who obtain plans directly from any other source are fully responsible for obtaining all necessary documents for a complete bid. This includes the verification and incorporation of addenda or revision bulletins, prior to bidding the project.

All Bid Proposals must be submitted on an unaltered or modified copy of the Bid Forms provided in the project manual. Bidders may photocopy these forms. The entire manual does not need to be submitted with the bids. Faxed Bid Proposals, Phone Quotes, and Email Quotes will not be accepted.
A 5% Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check is required.
Bids must include the cost of Performance Bond and Payment Bond.
Bidders shall conform to the requirements of the Arkansas licensing laws and regulations for contractors and shall be licensed before a bid is submitted.
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any formalities.
