The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids for:

Solicitation Number: IFB 224-241          Traffic Signal Construction &Maintenance IDIQ

Project Scope: The scope of the project includes maintenance and construction on-call services for City of SanMarcos traffic signals. The annual construction volume is estimated to be $150,000.00 per year.

ProjectManual, plans, addenda, bid tabulation, etc., are available for download at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement .

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Access instructions to the pre-bid video conference can be located at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement .

Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 2:00P.M., Local Time, and the bid opening will be conducted via video conference.Instructions for access to the video conference can be located at the top of the www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement site.

Award is tentatively scheduled for the Tuesday, May 20, 2025, City Council meeting, at 6:00 p.m., or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
