This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Brief Description:
The contractor shall install and provide a system designed to produce filtered water for two bathrooms—including shower stalls—and a kitchen in the corner room of building 1, Koke'e AFS, Island of Kauai, closest to the water shutoff valve. The system shall utilize a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) water filtration system, incorporating UV disinfection with new piping to ensure safe and effective operation. The contractor shall chlorinate the water system and flush out the system disposing of the chlorinated water.
