The intent of this solicitation and resulting agreement is to obtain the services of one or more qualified contractors to provide 1) professional unarmed and armed security services for various Arlington County departments and locations and 2) services of Special Conservators of the Peace (SCOPs) for its Crisis Intervention Center (CIC) for a seven-year term (one base year with six, 12-month renewal options). Security officers currently provide unarmed security services for the Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Department of Environmental Services (DES) Water Pollution Control Plant, and armed services at the main Bozman Government Center.
