FY27 PIPE LINING

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Western Virginia Water Authority (Authority) will receive sealed Bids for the construction of the FY27 PIPE LINING at the Authority’s Field Operations Center, 3322 Hollins Road NE, Roanoke, Virginia, 24012 until 2:00 p.m. local time on October 13, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of rehabilitation of sanitary sewer pipes in the form of pipe lining various line sizes of sanitary sewer and related incidentals. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

Prospective Bidders must examine and download the Bidding Documents at www.westernvawater.org/bids. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents will not be issued. Prospective Bidders may direct technical inquiries to Owner’s Project Manager, Trent Cox, P.E., by email at Trent.Cox@westernvawater.org

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. local time on October 1, 2026 at the Authority’s Field Operations Center, 3322 Hollins Road NE, Roanoke, Virginia 24012.

Bidders are referred to the Code of Virginia § 54.1-1100 et seq. for contractor requirements. The Authority does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or religion. The Authority does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia § 2.2-4343.1. A Bid may be withdrawn in accordance with the Code of Virginia § 2.2-4330 by giving notice in writing of Bidder’s claim of right to withdraw Bid within two business days after the conclusion of the bid opening procedure and submitting original work papers with such notice.

Code of Virginia § 2.2-4303:  All local public bodies shall provide an option to submit bids or proposals through eVA or other electronic means.  In cases where bids or proposals are submitted electronically, the local public body may also require a certain number of paper submissions for review purposes.  Please be advised, the Western Virginia Water Authority will still be requesting hard copies to be submitted in our office by the deadline mentioned above.
