The City of New Bedford Purchasing Department in conjunction with the New Bedford Regional Airport is seeking responses from qualified and responsible consultants licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide planning and design services for a new Airport Terminal and a new Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting ARFF Snow Removal Equipment SRE and Maintenance Facility including assisting the Airport in the design and planning process bidding and construction administration. The scope shall also include design services relating to the demolition of the existing Air Traffic Control Tower Terminal Facility and the existing Maintenance Facility. The expected timeframe for the project is May 2025 to May 2028 for design services construction demolition and closeout. The selection of the consultant is governed by the Massachusetts Designer Selection Law MGL. c 7C 44-58 and the New Bedford Regional Airports Designer Selection Procedures. A pre response walkthrough will be held on Monday March 31st, 2025. Participants shall meet in the first floor conference room in the Terminal Building at the New Bedford Regional Airport at 1569 Airport Road, New Bedford, MA. Responses will be received by the Purchasing Department until Friday April 25th, 2025 at 2:00p.m. Responses must be submitted electronically via the City of New Bedford Solicitation webpage on BidNet Direct.
