Project Description: Wake County, Continuum of Care Lead Agency, is responsible for “establish[ing] a White Flag annual response plan in collaboration with the Wake CoC Governing Board, to include notification of declared White Flag nights and Cooling Centers and the creation of a community-wide plan for severe weather.” To ensure adequate access to shelter for people experiencing homelessness, coordination of emergency response and communications during cold and severe weather, awarded vendor(s) in collaboration with the CoC will establish a White Flag (WF) Response Plan.
